For certain software (e.g. most PlayStation 1 games and a handful of PlayStation 2 games) your TV or monitor must use the YPbPr inputs "240p" (NTSC / 60Hz regions) and / or "288p" (PAL / 50Hz regions)). Read here how to test the function of your screen in the scenario described.
