Board Folk - Sega Neptune DIY PCB

There is no warranty on this item once you start soldering on it.
The power rails have been veryfied. 

Due to the nature of this being a DIY kit we cannot provide support on debugging errors.

What you will get:

• Prepopulated board only missing 16 ICs, controller ports and power button, as well as a few parts in the composite video circuit that can be harvested from the 32X if one wants composite signal
• New 1 to 1 reset button replacement (this one is also not soldered so that poition can be swapped)
• 2 * 3D printed parts for cartridge slot
• Preprogrammed switchless regionfree PIC chip including support for multibios on the Sega / Mega CD 1 & 2
• DFO for true frequency and higher compatibility (The DFO is not soldered onto the mainboard, so it can be removed while soldering the ICs. You will have to add a wire from S0 to the PAL/NTSC testpoint.)
• High quality Rubicon electrolytic caps
• Jumpers to allow for different donor versions
• 75 Ohm Csync on composite video Jumper

Jumper settings:

• For the jumpers with the SH2 open the kicad schematic and check what ic and cap matches.
• SCA jumpers depends if your donor had a SCA or not. Close jumpers accordingly.
• VA1 / VA0 depends on donor.
• 5V at Sega CD is connected on cosams but he mentions it might need a cut and 9V for some Sega CD. Therefore I added a jumper so no potential cut is needed. Can be closed as so far no 5V incompatibel hardware has been found.
• Sega CD jumpers are for Multibios switching

Bugs found so far:

• Version 1.4
• C12 & C14 have to be replaced with 1nF 0805 caps. These can be taken from the donor Megadrive / Genesis
• Pin 81 on the 5660 (IC6) has to be connected to ground to fix TMSS glitching. It is recommended to connect it to pad 9 of the EXT footprint.
